GOOD: DONTARI POE’S TOUCHDOWN PASS

How cool was this?

With less than two minutes in the game and the Chiefs knowing they were going to knock the Broncos out of playoff contention, Andy Reid designed a play to stick it to Denver and their fans for all of the beat-downs they had on us over the years.

I was in the upper deck before this play began and I heard cheering. My brothers and I assumed that Nick Foles had been put into the game, but then we saw Poe lining up in the shotgun.

When we saw him jump ball the football to Demetrius Harris, we were laughing our asses off! I don’t really think this play was necessary, but when you can take the points, you take them, no matter how they come.

Poe had a great game all together in this one, solidifying the stance that a franchise tag on him might need to happen next season. Poe had one tackle and a defended pass, not to mention a touchdown pass. He’s now run for a touchdown and thrown for a touchdown this season.

I hope we see this play again in the postseason, but only in similar circumstances when the Chiefs are up by quite a bit on the scoreboard.
