GOOD: FIRST QUARTER OFFENSE

After the Kansas City Chiefs marched down the field in seven plays and scored on an Alex Smith designed run into the end zone, I said to my brothers (who I attended the game with), “They made that look easy!”

If this is the Kansas City Chiefs offense that shows up on EVERY possession in the playoffs – then watch out, my friends.

You’d agree, wouldn’t you? The Broncos defense was one that the Chiefs had trouble scoring on in week 12 and Smith and company manhandled them in the first quarter, putting up three touchdowns and picking them apart play after play.

Of the Chiefs’ four possessions in the first quarter – Three went for touchdowns and the other was the pick that Smith threw (though I wouldn’t blame that interception on him honestly).

The Chiefs responded very quickly after their turnover led to a Broncos touchdown with a score of their own – the 80 yard catch and run for a touchdown by Kelce.

If this is the Kansas City Chiefs offense that shows up on EVERY possession in the playoffs – then watch out, my friends.

Sadly though, there’s a reason why this says “FIRST QUARTER OFFENSE” and not “OFFENSE”.
