Kansas City Chiefs: Report Card Vs Tennessee Titans
This was the most depressing report card I’ve written since the Sunday Night Football loss to Pittsburgh in week four. That week saw everyone get F’s. This game came pretty close to that.
The only good part of this game was the two touchdown drives in the first quarter. After that, the offense disappeared.
Whether they went home to be inside or went out to grab some hot chocolate, we’ll never know, but man they were horrendous on Sunday. This is something that’s concerning for sure for the KC Chiefs, as they failed to score against Oakland last week and their defense bailed them out.
This week, the defense managed to force three turnovers and the offense could do little to nothing with those opportunities. Just bad football by a team that we’ve seen recent flashes of in the last few weeks.
Next up is a Christmas Day match-up with the Denver Broncos, who are coming off of two straight losses. The Chiefs haven’t beaten the Broncos at Arrowhead since the 2010 season. That was before the Broncos had drafted Von Miller and when the Chiefs were rolling with Matt Cassel as their quarterback.

All the Chiefs have to do to make the playoffs is win one more game, but their hopes of hosting a playoff game and getting a first-round bye might have gone bye bye with this loss.
Oh well. You win some, you lose some. The Chiefs just lost a dumb one.
