. . . OVERALL OFFENSE. D

The first two offensive drives led to easy touchdowns for the Kansas City Chiefs and it looked like this would be a sure win for the Chiefs. Little did we know that those two touchdowns would be it for the Chiefs on the day.

Cairo Santos knocked in a field goal later on, but the offense completely vanished after those two scores.

Alex Smith couldn’t do anything, the run game was useless, and aside from Jeremy Maclin, I’m not even sure anyone else showed up.

Maclin had six catches for 82 yards, which was huge, considering he’s been pretty bad this year. That’s one of the few good situations to arise at Arrowhead on Sunday.

Everything else? Awful. Just awful.

Time and time again, the Chiefs defense and special teams has bailed the team out when the offense can’t do anything. This time, those two areas couldn’t help their guys, and the offense lost this one for the team.
