Chiefs DL vs Raiders OL

The Kansas City Chiefs are going to have to do what most teams have failed to do against the Oakland Raiders this year. That is contend with an offensive line that has been borderline dominant in 2016. Specifically, this will be a battle between the Chiefs defensive linemen and the Raiders interior offensive linemen.

For the Chiefs, the lineup will mainly feature Dontari Poe, Chris Jones, and Rakeem Nunez-Roaches. The Chiefs are without starting defensive ends Allen Bailey and Jaye Howard who are both on IR. Fortunately, both Jones and Nunez have stepped up into their roles on the defense. There are still some issues with the front three for the Chiefs in terms of consistency though.

For the Raiders, I’m focusing on the interior linemen. That is Kelechi Osemele, Rodney Hudson, and Gabe Jackson. This group has been absolutely solid. Osemele may be the single best free agent acquisition in the entire NFL for the 2016 season. Former Chief Rodney Hudson has continued doing in Oakland what we once loved about him in Kansas City. This will be a war.
