Can Hill Do Enough?

Over the past several weeks, the Kansas City Chiefs have gotten an unexpected boost in the passing game from Tyreek Hill. The rookie wide receiver has come almost out of nowhere and emerged as the Chiefs top big play and outside receiving threat. He has shown the ability to make plays at every single level in the passing game.

Over the past six weeks, Tyreek Hill has looked very impressive. During that span, he has 36 catches for 356 yards…just 24 fewer than Conley’s season total.  Hill has also found the endzone five times as a receiver this year whereas Conley has yet to put points on the board. No matter how you slice it, Tyreek Hill is the more productive receiver.

The only real concern with featuring Tyreek Hill more often is whether or not he could handle the extended work. However, with the way he has developed this season, it is hard to imagine that he couldn’t take on a larger role moving forward. Certainly the Chiefs should want to find more ways to get the ball into his hands. That comes with more time on the playing field.
