AFC Playoffs: 3rd Seed

Baltimore Ravens (7-5)

Yet another division leader that the Kansas City Chiefs currently have a better record than is the Baltimore Ravens. However, unlike the Houston Texans, the Ravens appear to be a team on a bit of a roll. Baltimore has won four of their last five, including games over the Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins.

The road ahead for the Ravens isn’t easy. Baltimore has road games against the Patriots and Steelers still on their schedule. That is a tough spot to be in, especially with the Steelers holding an identical record. Fortunately for Baltimore, their games against the Bengals and Eagles are very winnable.

The key for the Ravens making the playoffs will be keeping one (or a half) step ahead of the Steelers. Pittsburgh is currently on the outside looking in on the playoff picture, but hold the same record as Baltimore. Neither team can afford to slip up, so it will be interesting to see who gives first. Their Christmas day match up is highlighted, circled, and starred.
