AFC Playoffs: 5th Seed

Kansas City Chiefs (9-3)

The Kansas City Chiefs just keep pulling off exciting wins. To be honest, I would be perfectly fine if they chose to blow an opponent out every now and then. However, as long as this team is winning, who cares? However, the Chiefs need to keep winning as they move forward. KC is close to clinching a playoff spot, but now is not the time to let up.

The remaining schedule for the Chiefs is a tough one, but it works well for them. The Chiefs still have the Raiders, Titans, Broncos, and Chargers left to go through. However, three of those games will be played at Arrowhead Stadium. The final game of the season will be on the road against San Diego, but the Chargers are the weakest remaining opponent.

The Chiefs are still being overlooked by many pundits and analysts. That is kind of to be expected when you consider the storyline of the Oakland Raiders. That is a very popular franchise that has a big story, and they are technically in first place. However, a lot of that could change after Thursday night when Oakland travels to Arrowhead.
