Fourth Down: Falcons Had It Wrapped Up

As part of the lead up to the Kansas City Chiefs match up with the Atlanta Falcons, I made an observation on a major key to the game. That was the health of Jeremy Maclin and Dee Ford. I stated that if the Chiefs had both players healthy and ready to go, they could win easily. Of course, Maclin would miss the game and Ford was very limited, so we never got to find out.

However, Falcons fans thought that notion was ridiculous. All week my mentions were filled with outraged Atlanta fans who “put me on blast” or “called me out”. Of course, through all of that I was repeatedly informed that the Chiefs were a joke of a team. According to Falcons fans, Kansas City apparently didn’t even belong on the same field as them. Interesting analysis…

"Somebody is drunk on an 8-3 record and soft schedule."

Oddly enough, Falcons fans haven’t been coming around since Sunday. Weird. I always enjoy it when fans argue their team is better and really have nothing to back it up. The Chiefs now own road wins against the Raiders, Broncos, and Falcons. I’ll let you decide which one of those teams qualifies as soft.
