The Kansas City Chiefs took down the Atlanta Falcons on the road in a 29-28 victory. It was one heck of a game for the Chiefs and they now sit at 9-3 on the year with some huge games up ahead.

What a game in the Georgia Dome!

The KC Chiefs were facing one of the highest scoring offenses in all of the NFL and came out victorious. It was a great game for Chiefs fans and now they’re heading into a huge Thursday night showdown with the Oakland Raiders.

While this is a Good, Bad, Ugly article, nothing in this game was really all that ugly to be honest. The game was pretty well-played for the Chiefs and they’ve now won nine games this season. Huge.

So, let’s now glance at what was good, what was bad, and what was bad in this game against the Dirty Birds of Atlanta.

Good: Alex Smith

As much as people gripe about Alex Smith (and he’s deserved it this season), he was on fire on Sunday against the terrible Falcons defense. Smith completed all but four passes for 270 yards and had a touchdown pass.

There were some not-so-good moments for the Chiefs quarterback, but he hadn’t looked this “on” throughout a game since October in Oakland.

I recently wrote a post on how if the Chiefs wanted to be a contender, Smith would have to play better. If he plays like he did this week, then my oh my – Watch out, world.
