Kansas City Chiefs 2016 Season

Coming off of their biggest season in recent memory, a lot was expected of the Kansas City Chiefs for 2016. So far, this team is delivering on those expectations. The Chiefs are currently 9-3 and hold impressive road wins over the Raiders, Broncos and Falcons. The victory over Atlanta this past week might be the most apt comparison for Reid’s tenure in KC…this team expects to win and does it.

The Chiefs pulled out all the stops as they knocked off the Falcons. That is a sign that they are willing to do just about whatever it takes to score the victory. That is the mentality of a championship caliber team. With the Chiefs in prime position to make the playoffs, that should be a confidence booster for the fans.

Moving forward, there is no reason to believe that the Chiefs will be letting their foot off the gas. The team has money available in future years, a strong corps of young talent, and some real stability at the top levels. The Chiefs could be a top contender for years to come…something that Chiefs fans have been waiting on for a long time.

With continued success, and a clear plan and structure in the front office, there is no reason to believe this won’t continue. The Chiefs look poised to be among the better teams in the NFL for years to come. Andy Reid may frustrate Chiefs Kingdom at times, but he is clearly the right man to lead this franchise.
