Kansas City Chiefs 2015 Season

There may not have been a more gratifying season for Kansas City Chiefs fans in recent memory than 2015. This was the year the Chiefs began to cast aside the various notes and astrices that surrounded the last 20 years of the franchise. Most notably, their first playoff victory in over 20 years.

This would also be the year that the Chiefs finally got the best of the Peyton Manning led Denver Broncos. After a heartbreaking loss early in the season, the Chiefs absolutely slaughtered the Broncos in their second match up. It remains a nice feather in the cap for Chiefs fans, especially when Denver would eventually pull Peyton Manning after getting picked off repeatedly.

Of course, one more major victory this season was the stunning return of Eric Berry to the fooball field. The Chiefs team leader would come back and play very solid football all season to win Comeback Player of the Year and head to a Pro Bowl. For many fans, this was the best season of Chiefs football to have ever been experienced (we’re not all old enough to remember the Super Bowl).
