Fantasy Football: Five Kansas City Chiefs To Play Vs Atlanta Falcons
By Ben Almquist
Travis Kelce – TE
Projection: 8 Catches for 100+ yards and 1 TD
Patient Fantasy Football owners of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce have finally started getting rewareded. Kelce has put up 100+ yards in each of his last two games. That is a trend that figures to continue against an Atlanta Falcons team that struggles a lot against tight ends. In fact, the Falcons are 28th in Fantasy Football against opposing tight ends.
With Jeremy Maclin currently not a major part of the offensive game plan, the Chiefs are relying heavily on Travis Kelce. He has seen 24 targets over the past two weeks. Of course, the Falcons will likely be planning on trying to stop him. I doubt their ability to do so. The Chiefs short passing game should be rolling this week.
Travis Kelce is finally starting to live up to his billing as a top tier tight end in Fantasy Football. Have no fear in putting him out there as most teams are unable to defend him. Kelce should also be a tremendous DFS play this week in a very favorable match up. He is emerging as one of the Chiefs better fantasy options.
