Week 12 Top Scorers: 66 points

Tyreek Hill – 23 points

The entire world was introduced to Kansas City Chiefs receiver Tyreek Hill, and his Fantasy Football owners loved it. Hill did something that hadn’t been seen since Gale Sayers as he scored touchdowns receiving, rushing, and returning. Doing it in a prime time match up definitely boosted his stock.

Alex Smith – 14 points

For most of the game last week, Alex Smith was pretty lackluster. Of course, a lot of that had to do with bad drops from his receivers. However, just as Chiefs fans were about to storm 1 Arrowhead Drive to demand his head, Smith railed off three consecutive scoring drives to win the game. Not a bad little finish against a top tier defense.

Travis Kelce – 10 points

Over the past two weeks, Travis Kelce has started to emerge as a quality Fantasy Football option at tight end. Owners had been getting frustrated at his lack of production. Despite putting up 100 yards receiving, it would be tough to say that Kelce had a good day on offense. The young tight end racked up a number of drops.

Chiefs Defense/Special Teams – 10 points

Despite giving up a strong performance to Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian, the Kansas City Chiefs defense and special teams had a nice Fantasy Football day. Of course, that was largely due to a punt return for a touchdown by Tyreek Hill. The Chiefs also spent a lot of time in the Broncos backfield, putting a hurting on Siemian.

Spencer Ware – 9 points

The Kansas City Chiefs rushing attack hasn’t been what Chiefs fans have expected. Very little of that has actually had to do with Spencer Ware, but that won’t matter to his fantasy owners. The Chiefs have been quick to abandon the run recently, and that has limited Ware’s impact. Despite going into overtime, Ware only saw 17 carries against Denver.
