Good: Justin Houston

My oh my, was Justin Houston electric or what? In his second start this season, Houston made the  life of Denver right tackle Ty Sambrailo a living hell, which in turn made Trevor Siemian’s life a living hell.

On the Broncos’ second possession, Justin Houston smashed through the right side of the line for a sack on Siemian on a third and four to force the Denver punt team out.

Justin Houston was back to his usual self on Sunday night and Chiefs fans were definitely ecstatic by that.

Houston struck again on a Denver third and 16 by sacking Siemian. Later on, he really justified Sambrailo getting benched when he sacked the young quarterback for a third time.

That third sack resulted in a safety and those two points proved to be the difference in the game, even if they were the first points scored on the evening.

Justin Houston was back to his usual self on Sunday night and Chiefs fans were definitely ecstatic by that. He was so good that the Broncos were consistently holding him (yet no flags were thrown…  Hmm…) and were doing their darndest to make sure he wasn’t a factor in the game.

Having Houston back to his regular self is fantastic, but can you IMAGINE how frightened other teams are going to be when Dee Ford is healthy again as well? To quote teenagers these days, I LITERALLY CAN’T EVEN. Now I hate myself for using that phrase.

Good to have you back, Justin Houston.
