Kansas City Chiefs: Good, Bad, Ugly Vs Denver Broncos
The Kansas City Chiefs had one crazy game on Sunday Night Football this past weekend and came out of Denver victorious. What was good, what was bad, and what was downright ugly in their primetime win?
With the entire country watching them on Sunday Night Football, the KC Chiefs got it done in the Mile High city. The Chiefs hadn’t been very good on primetime television (especially Sunday Night Football), but they rallied.
Down eight points with under thirty seconds in regulation, Alex Smith connected with Tyreek Hill on a short touchdown pass that originally was ruled down just short of the goal line. It looked like the clock was going to run out and the Broncos were going to escape with a win, but NOPE!
The officials reviewed the spot, and Hill and the football had both broken the plain. Kansas City had six points and now had to go for the two-point conversion to tie things up and send this game to overtime.
Smith then found Demetrius Harris, or as I like to call him Droppy McDropperson, and this game was squared up at 24 points a piece. Unreal.
While the game itself was fun, not everything about this win was sunshine and smiles. Let’s take a look at the good, the bad, and the ugly in Sunday night’s huge victory against the Denver Broncos.
