Offensive Line

Last week, I used Pro Football Focus’ updated offensive line rankings to make my decision, and I’ll do the same this week.

  • Neither of these offensive lines are particularly great. The Chiefs are 17th on PFF’s list and the Broncos clock in all the way at 25th. Here is what they had to say about Denver’s line,

"The Denver Broncos line is actually okay, outside of one prohibitive position that threatens to sink the whole ship. At right tackle, Donald Stephenson and Ty Sambrailo alternate getting eviscerated by opposing pass-rushers, sometimes both within the same game. As a pair, they have surrendered six sacks and 46 total QB pressures on the season, which would be the most in the league if they were one right tackle."

Chiefs fans might recognize the name Donald Stephenson. He used to play in Kansas City just last year, but was put in the dog house after being suspended for several games.

As you can see, Stephenson is struggling for the Broncos and hopefully the Chiefs can take advantage of that right side and get pressure on Siemian.

While Kansas City’s offensive line has been mediocre (really only Eric Fisher has been consistently good), I’ll give them the edge here.

    Advantage: Kansas City
