Kansas City Chiefs: Fresh Hot Takes From Sunday Vs Buccaneers

Overtime: Hot Takes From Around The League
There were some pretty interesting takes this week from Kansas City Chiefs fans. However, that pales in comparison to some of the things being said about other teams. In fact, some of these had me almost rolling on the floor laughing. It’s amazing how far some people will go when it comes to sports.

"I have no plans for him (Tony Romo) not to be a part of the Dallas Cowboys. Not a consideration."
Oh, I definitely had to start here. Unless you live under a rock, at the bottom of the ocean, on some distant planet…or I guess if you just had other stuff to do…then you have heard about Tony Romo’s concession speech to Dak Prescott. Following that, Jerry Jones stood up for his adoptive son (sorry Steven Jones). However, if you’re asking me to believe you’re going to keep around a 36 year old backup quarterback with back problems and a $24 million cap hit…well, I’m just gonna laugh at you.

"Jared Goff did OK, dinking/dunking for 134 yds passing. Had Rams in position to win but D let him down, let Tannehill heat up late."
If you read this column regularly, you know how much I love me some Skip Bayless. The guy is just hot take gold. Let’s take a look at this one. The Rams defense apparently let Jared Goff down. Yes, their interception, four sacks, and 11 tackles for loss were a clear detriment to Goff. The Dolphins scored 14 points. Note to Jared Goff (and Skip Bayless): Score more than 10.

The Kansas City Chiefs lost this week. It happens. The Chiefs are still sitting at 7-3 and in good position to make the playoffs. This was ultimately just one game. Frankly, the Chiefs looked better in some areas on offense this week. Hopefully they can build on that and also get healthy on defense. There are some key games coming up. This season is not lost by any means.
