Justin Houston’s Return

The biggest news of the week for the Kansas City Chiefs is the return of Justin Houston. The superstar pass rusher has missed a lot of time due to his knee injury. Early on this season, it was a major source of ire amongst Chiefs Kingdom. With his return this week, KC’s roster gets stronger, even if he is limited.

The major media outlets are reporting that Justin Houston will be limited this week, and that makes a lot of sense. The Chiefs tend to be careful when it comes to injuries. With the Denver Broncos, Atlanta Falcons, and Oakland Raiders on deck, the Chiefs will want to ensure Houston is healthy.

Despite likely being limited this week, Houston will be a presence just by being on the field. The Buccaneers have a struggling offensive line. They will have to account for Houston whenever he gets out there. That should create favorable match ups for Dee Ford and others. That is an excellent position for Bob Sutton to game plan from.

The Kansas City Chiefs are dealing with a lot of injuries, but are still a solid team. Despite the set backs, they should be the better squad this week. There are a lot of worse weeks for this kind of injury report to happen on. However, there is no denying that the Chiefs are being tested this season. Hopefully that pays off down the road.
