Linebackers

This one is tough.

Luke Kuechly is one of the best young linebackers in the league and he continues to show why. With 56 tackles, four defended passes, two sacks, and an interception to his name so far this season, Kuechly alone makes Carolina a dangerous team on defense.

The Chiefs, however, have the one and only Dee Ford. While Ford would have been even scarier with Justin Houston coming back, he still has shown that he can pressure the quarterback and make him uncomfortable.

When it comes down to it, I just can’t pick against Kuechly. If Justin Houston were playing in this game, I’d definitely go with the Chiefs, but he’s not.

With Derrick Johnson potentially out as well, the Panthers definitely have the advantage at the linebacker position.
