This is a big game for both teams, but the Chiefs will have it tougher by having to beat a tough opponent on the road.

If the Kansas City Chiefs can pull out a victory in this one, then I’m fully convinced that they will be a contender in the AFC this year. A loss, however, would put them behind the Raiders by a game in the division and it’d be tough to come back from that.

Where this game is winnable for the Chiefs is by doing what they do best – creating turnovers and turning those into points. Newton hasn’t been that “clutch” quarterback as much this season and the Chiefs need to make him uncomfortable and get him to make bad throws.

If the Chiefs can force more than two turnovers and not turn the ball over themselves, then I believe they have the advantage in this one. They also need to not get gashed in the run game like they did last week against the Jaguars.

This will be a tough game for both teams, but the Chiefs have to play like this is a “must-win” game. Carolina is a playoff team despite their record showing otherwise, and a win here would show the nation that the Kansas City Chiefs are for real.
