Kansas City Chiefs. TRAVIS KELCE. F-. . TE

No matter what your opinions are on the NFL referees, what Travis Kelce did on Sunday was inexcusable.

In case you missed it, here’s what happened.

He very well could have blown this game for Kansas City and that’s unacceptable when you’re trying to make it into the postseason.

Kelce went to make a catch in the end zone and when a pass interference call was not ruled by the refs, Kelce made his feelings about it known. He ended up being ejected from the game for throwing a towel (or a glove?) at the official.

Kelce cost the Chiefs 30 yards and they then had to settle for a field goal, when they should have been going for six. He very well could have blown this game for Kansas City and that’s unacceptable when you’re trying to make it into the postseason.

This is likely only the beginning of this, as there’s a chance that Kelce could be suspended for next week’s game. You can’t throw things at an official and Kelce knows better than that.

Kelce had five catches for 58 yards against Jacksonville and was nearly invisible in the second half. He was the team’s leading receiver, but should be fortunate that this game didn’t result in a loss. Otherwise, this would be a much bigger deal to Chiefs fans.
