Where was the run game on Sunday?

I understand there was no Spencer Ware suiting up for Kansas City, but you mean to tell me that with Charcandrick West and once again Chief Knile Davis that this team couldn’t make any sort of impact in the run game?

Here’s how bad it was:

  • West led the team in rushing yards with 39 off of 13 carries
  • Davis only had ten yards and shows why he didn’t last with the other two teams who took a chance on him
  • All together the Chiefs totaled 62 yards on the ground on 22 freaking carries

It’s easy to blame Nick Foles for the poor offensive showing, but the run game was awful. This is a Chiefs team that typically is good at running the ball, but this game was a piss poor example of that.

Let’s hope Spencer Ware gets better for next week because yikes, this one wasn’t pretty.
