Wide Receiver

Maclin/Conley or Hurns/Robinson?

Heading into this season, I was really scared of Bortles and his two main receivers – also known as the Allens. Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns both had big seasons for the Jags in 2015, but they’ve both been let downs so far in 2016.

The two have combined for 64 catches for 809 yards and five touchdowns. Not exactly the production that the Jaguars were expecting from their standout receivers after the performances they put up last season.

A lot of that does hinge on Bortles’ poor showing so far in 2016, but still.

Kansas City is countering with Jeremy Maclin and Chris Conley, both of whom still haven’t really “gotten it going” yet. To make matters worse, Maclin had a sore groin throughout the week and could not even end up playing on Sunday. Just another injury bug biting the KC Chiefs.

While the Allens have been disappointing so far in 2016, I think they’re the “deadlier” combo in this game.

Advantage: Jacksonville
