Are The Jaguars Truly Broken?

The Kansas City Chiefs are rolling on a three game winning streak right now.  The Jaguars are pretty much doing the exact opposite.  Last Thursday night, fans witnessed what appeared to be an absolute implosion.  It was bad enough that many pundits wondered if head coach Gus Bradley would have a job at the start of the second half.

There has been a lot of talk about Gus Bradley being on the hot seat in Jacksonville.  In fact, it is a bit of a surprise that Bradley is still the head coach.  However, he is not the only source of frustration in Jacksonville.  For reasons still unknown, quarterback Blake Bortles has regressed dramatically from last season.

Coming into this year, Bortles was expected to be a top quarterback.  However, the exact opposite has happened.  Currently, Blake Bortles is top ten in the NFL in being sacked and top five in interceptions thrown.  He has put up some good numbers, but film review shows that this happens mostly in “garbage time” when the game is already decided.  This bodes very well for the Chiefs.
