Kansas City Chiefs: Report Card Vs Indianapolis Colts
The Kansas City Chiefs moved to 5-2 on Sunday when they defeated the Indianapolis Colts. This was a Colts team that had gotten the best of our Chiefs in the past, but Kansas City walked away with the victory.
That was a good victory for our KC Chiefs!
Some scary things that happened were the amount of injuries that hit this team all throughout the game, including Alex Smith having to exit the game not once, but twice. Spencer Ware and Parker Ehinger also were injured and didn’t return to the game.
Smith suffered two hard hits to the ground. He cleared concussion protocol and re-entered the game only to have an even worse hit on him later by Clayton Geathers. It looked as though Geathers had shoved Smith’s head into the turf, but no flag was thrown.
Despite the injuries, the Chiefs stepped up and won this game in convincing fashion by a score of 30-14.
We’ll get to the report card in a minute, but I just want to take the time to gush over how good of a team win this was. Injuries happened right and left, but the Chiefs won in spite of them. The offense was good, the defense was good, and there really weren’t a lot of negative parts of this game.
All right, now let’s begin with this week’s report card!
