Kansas City Chiefs: Five Trades To Consider Before the Deadline

The Kansas City Chiefs secondary is clearly struggling right now. It’s not unexpected due to the youth of the group, but it is still an issue. The Chiefs need a veteran presence back there to help out. With Phillip Gaines being unreliable in his availability, a trade makes sense. Prince Amukamara might be the best option on the table.
The Jaguars offense is just plain bad right now, but the defense has played very well. However, the end result has been that Jacksonville is falling out of the playoff hunt. With Amukamara being a free agent after this year, a trade could net the Jags an extra draft pick. Grabbing a mid round pick could help their front office address their issues on offense.
The Jaguars don’t lose much of anything in this deal because Prince Amukamara was just a one-year signing. The Chiefs, meanwhile, gain a veteran corner who can help bring some stability for the playoffs. That is key as the Chiefs will certainly be seeing some quality passing attacks in the post season.
