Ugly: Pass Rush

Once again, the Kansas City Chiefs pass rush was non-existent this week. They did manage a sack on Drew Brees (by Sorensen in the first half), but that was it.

A sack by Dee Ford was negated by a Chiefs penalty, but other than those two circumstances, the Chiefs pass rush was nowhere to be found.

Brees had all of the time in the world to make plays and that’s exactly what you DON’T want as the opposition.

The lack of pass rush for the KC Chiefs just shows how badly this team needs Justin Houston back. Houston is the dominant pass rusher for this team and without him, these guys can’t get anything going.

Tamba Hali‘s age is showing a lot this year and the defensive line that I use to always rave about is really letting me down this season. Playoff teams need a decent pass rush and the Chiefs don’t have one. It’s a huge concern for sure.
