Tight End

Kelce or Fleener?

Travis Kelce has yet to lose a round of “Better Tight Match-Up” this season and that won’t change this week. His opponent is Coby Fleener of the Saints, who has underperformed for his entire pro career.

Kelce is one of the top tight ends in the entire league and has continued to show that he’s a huge mismatch against opposing defenses.

Kelce is one of the top tight ends in the entire league and has continued to show that he’s a huge mismatch against opposing defenses. Now if only the Chiefs would call plays to get him more involved.

Fleener, however, was a former second round pick by the Colts in 2012. He signed with the Saints this offseason and I thought that might jumpstart his career a bit.

Instead, Fleener has continued to struggle, but his numbers are improving. He has 237 yards and has made it into the end zone twice. He’s looked confused at times (in fact – one of his touchdowns came on a play in which he ran the wrong route and just got lucky), and that is something you don’t see with Kelce.

Also – Hello?! Our tight end has his own dating show! As bad as the show is, that’s still going in the win column.

Advantage: Kansas City
