Kansas City Chiefs: Next Five Games Key For Playoff Push
By Ben Almquist
Carolina Panthers
After facing one disappointing team, the Kansas City Chiefs will travel to Charlotte to take on the biggest disappointment of 2016 in the Panthers. The Panthers are a dangerous team, but for whatever reason things are not clicking. Carolina will probably be the toughest test of this five game stretch because they have talent and will be getting desperate.
The Panthers have been a big disappointment this year, and it’s tough to decide if that is more on the offense or defense. Week after week, you have no idea what to expect from the Carolina offense. They can hang 40 on an opponent one week, and not break 10 the next. Along the way, it has been clear that frustration is building.
However, on the defensive side of the ball, there has been some stability…just not the good kind. We all knew that Josh Norman was a good defensive back, but I can’t think of anybody who thought he was this important. The Panthers simply cannot stop anyone from passing on them. The Chiefs should get some big performances from Jeremy Maclin and Travis Kelce in this game.
Chiefs Win: 28-17
