Kentucky Wildcats

The Missouri Tigers don’t get a week off when it comes to the 3-3 Kentucky Wildcats.  In fact, Kentucky may be the best of these four teams, having beaten both South Carolina and Vanderbilt.  Some folks may think that bodes well for Mizzou…I disagree.  Let’s not forget that Kentucky beat Missouri last season.  From there, the teams have gone in different directions.

The Wildcats appear to be building a competitive squad under Mark Stoops.  Granted, neither South Carolina or Vanderbilt are wins to really crow about.  However, they are also teams that Kentucky loss to pretty often not long ago.  Meanwhile…well, we know what Mizzou has gone through already.

This game will very much be a weather gauge for the Tigers.  There is no denying that there is a tier system in the SEC.  When it comes to that tier system, you don’t want to be in the same category as Kentucky…and certainly you don’t want to be beneath them.

The key in this game will be the Mizzou offense against a poor Kentucky defense.  That gives the Tigers the edge in my book.  Mizzou Wins: 27-16
