This should be a fun offensive heavy game on Sunday, and hopefully, the Kansas City Chiefs will come out of this one victorious.

The AFC/NFC match-ups are odd mainly because we don’t know a whole lot about the NFC and what challenges they bring to our team. The only Saints game broadcasted on primetime this year was a Monday night massacre, in which the Falcons blew them out of the water.

We’ve all seen how poorly New Orleans’ defense has played in the past four or five years though, and that will be something that the Chiefs have to take advantage of and capitalize on.

Run the ball often. Throw the ball deep. Have Alex Smith take a few designed runs down the field. Mix things up and keep that bad Saints defense on their toes all day long.

The biggest problem will be Drew Brees, who is going to be a Hall of Famer after he retires. Brees can throw the football and with a young secondary like Kansas City’s, he might be singing that annoying song from Dirty Dancing on the sidelines after a touchdown pass to one of his receivers.

Having Justin Houston back in this game would be nice, but it could still be a few weeks before that happens. Oh well, this should still be a winnable game for Kansas City.

Thanks again to Barry Hirstius of Big Easy Believer for taking the time to answer my questions! Check out Barry’s stuff this week for great analysis on the enemy the Chiefs are welcoming in this weekend.
