Kansas City Chiefs: Good, Bad, Ugly Vs Oakland Raiders
Good: Spencer Ware
Spencer Ware had a marvelous day for Kansas City, which was a welcomed sight after struggling with fumbles in the last three games.
The Chiefs can never have too many solid running backs.
Ware finished the day with 24 carries for 131 yards and one touchdown. He was the team’s leading running back in this game and it was obvious that the Chiefs were leaning on him all game long.
We all know that Ware had the intangibles to be a solid starting running back for the Chiefs, but after his struggles the past few weeks, many started to wonder if he could still be that guy. He did just that on Sunday though, and it was great to see.
Ware also had two receptions for 32 yards in the Black Hole. He averaged 5.5 yards a carry and 16 yards a reception.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed that Spencer Ware can continue to be this dominant. Even though Jamaal Charles is back now, the Chiefs can never have too many solid running backs.
