Have a day, Charles Jones!

After being in the doghouse for the early part of the season, running back Charles Jones went off in Manhattan on Saturday. He rushed for 104 yards and one touchdown.

Jones seemingly got into a groove late in the first half and then really started moving along in the second half. The offense was completely confident handing the ball off to him play after play, and there was one drive where they handed the ball off to Jones four times in a row.

Jones averaged 6.7 yards per carry and showed that he can still be an effective running back for K-State football. A welcomed sight for sure.

Hopefully Jones can keep the legs churning for the rest of the season and finish strong!
