KC Chiefs: Five Positives For Chiefs At the Bye Week
This season hasn’t exactly started the way that fans had hoped for, but hey… It could be a hell of a lot worse right now.
The Chiefs could be sitting at 1-3 if Alex Smith hadn’t risen from the dead and led the biggest comeback in team history. With all of the crap that’s been thrown their way, it’s actually pretty impressive that they’re sitting at 2-2 right now.
While we’re still eagerly awaiting the return of Justin Houston, the Chiefs could have it a lot worse with injuries. The San Diego Chargers have lost a key player on their team after every single game so far this season. That’s bad luck, and the Chiefs should be thankful that their roster isn’t as depleted as San Diego’s.
The game against the Raiders next weekend could result in another loss, but things will get better after that. The Chiefs will square off against the Saints, Colts, Jaguars, and Panthers in their four games after that. That Panthers game isn’t looking as scary now with the way Carolina has been struggling so far.
