After playing two easy opponents in a row, the fun begins for K-State football.

West Virginia is underrated in football this year. They’re 3-0 and the Wildcats have a chance to spoil their undefeated party. Morgantown is a tough environment for teams to play in, and this game could come down to the final few minutes.

If, however, KSU can squeak out a big play on special teams, their chances will greatly increase in this one. This is a team that has excelled in that area over the past few years and their defense is back to healthy.

Those two areas should be able to keep the game in check for K-State.

The offense is where I’m worried. In their first game of the year, the KSU offense looked lost against Stanford. Perhaps it was opening night jitters or the fact that Stanford’s defense looked pretty good, but it was a performance that the Wildcats can’t repeat if they want to move to 3-1 on the year.

All in all, this should be a fun game, and hopefully it’ll result in a Kansas State victory.
