K-State football has had it relatively easy over the past two weeks with victories over Florida Atlantic and Missouri State. Now, they’ll begin Big 12 Conference play and their first stop is Morgantown, West Virginia.

The West Virginia Mountaineers aren’t ranked in the Top 25 polls yet, but they might as well be. The team has looked great in their first three games of the season, and they continue to impress the nation more and more as the season progresses.

K-State football had a tough test in week one with the Stanford Cardinal, and we all saw what happened there. They faltered on the road against a tough opponent. Could we see the same result this weekend when the Wildcats head to Morgantown?

Not to be a Debbie Downer here, but it’s entirely possible.

West Virginia is 3-0, with wins against the Missouri Tigers, Youngstown State Penguins (eat that, Bo Pelini), and BYU Cougars. They’re now ready to begin Big 12 play, and they’ll get to open it up at home against the Kansas State Wildcats.

Let’s take a look at three things to watch for this weekend when the Cats head east.
