First Down: Manish Mehta Opens Mouth, Inserts Foot

It’s fun to see the Kansas City Chiefs have an entire article written about them not being very good…just to see them come out and embarrass that opponent.  That was the case on Sunday when Manish Mehta of New York Daily News said the Jets were clearly better than the Chiefs.  Fast forward a couple hours and we saw that just wasn’t true.

The Chiefs completely embarrassed the Jets on Sunday.  New York put up more interceptions than points!  The Chiefs offense beat the Jets 10-3, the defense beat them 7-3, and the Special Teams beat them 7-3.  That’s an all-around butt whooping, and it made clear just who the better team is.

"No excuses…Jets are better than the Chiefs…and should win today."

That was fun to post.  C’mon, can you think of a better way to start off our hot takes than to crush a beat writer for the opposing team?  Especially a guy like Mehta who has made it a habit of being just so wrong about all things football.  I wonder if he’ll write a back tracking piece this week like he did about the Patriots last week.
