Spencer Ware or Matt Forte?
While there’s speculation that Jamaal Charles could be playing this week, I’m going to roll with the assumption that even if he’s active, Spencer Ware will start. The Jets will counter with Matt Forte, who spent the first eight years of his career with the Chicago Bears.
Forte is an underrated running back this season. He’s getting up there in age for a running back (he was drafted the same year as Charles) and that’s why Chicago parted ways with the guy.
He proved them wrong by scoring three touchdowns last week against the Bills and racking up 100 yards on the ground. Forte was a beast in Buffalo.
Ware had an excellent first week for the Chiefs, but didn’t shine as much against the Texans, and after seeing Forte’s stats from a week ago, he’s the better back between the two.
