The Ugly: The Second Half

The second half started off great for the Missouri Tigers. Saftey, Cam Hilton, picked off a Jason Eason pass to start the third quarter setting up an easy drive for Mizzou. J’Mon Moore caught a touchdown pass shortly after giving the Missouri Tigers a 27 to 21 lead with 13:54 left in the quarter. The game went downhill quickly after that.

As a alluded to earlier, the Missouri Tigers struggled to hold onto the ball especially in the second half. Drew Lock threw all three of his interceptions in the second half. After the early touchdown in the third quarter, the drive chart looked like this: punt, interception, punt, interception, interception, punt, fumble to close out the horrific game.

J’Mon Moore had a great game with eight receptions for 196 yards and two touchdowns but he fumbled the ball on Mizzou’s final drive essentially giving Georgia the win. Not the best way to finish out the game for Moore and the Missouri Tigers football team.
