Missouri Tigers Football: Good Bad Ugly VS Georgia Bulldogs

The Good: Kicking Game and Run Defense
Drew Lock played well in the first half of the game but his second half took him off of the good list this week. Kicker, Tucker McCann makes the good list against the Georgia Bulldogs.
McCann drilled both of his field goal chances. He split the uprights from 46 and 33 yards away. He also made three extra point kicks as well.
Meanwhile, the Bulldogs kicker, William Ham, missed both of his field goal attempts for 23 and 38 yards respectively.
Missouri Tigers punter, Corey Fatony, can kick the hell out of a football. Fatony booted five punts for an average distance of 50.4 yards a punt. He annihilated one punt for 60-yards. He landed the ball inside the 20-yard line once and received a touchback as well to go along with three punts of 50-yards or more.
The defense stuffed the run most of the evening. The Missouri Tigers defense held dynamic running back, Nick Chubb, to 63 yards on 19 attempts. Chubb average 3.31 yards per carry vs. the Mizzou Tigers new style of defense.
The Missouri Tigers plugged the running lanes Chubb tried to find and could not because they didn’t exist all night. The Tigers gave up 141 total rushing yards on 38 attempts for 3.71 yards per rush attempt on average. That’s getting the job done.
