Mike Minor

For the entire season, the name Mike Minor has been floating around constantly, and still here we are with less than two weeks to go in the regular season and the guy is nowhere to be found.

Minor joined the Royals this offseason, but hasn’t pitched in a major league game since the 2014 season when he was a member of the Atlanta Braves. He had 4.77 that year with the Braves, but threw over 140 innings with the club.

In August, Minor was shut down with shoulder inflammation and it added to the amount of disappointment fans had this season.

With Mike Minor’s season being cut short, however, there’s still a chance the guy could come in and do something for the team in 2017. He probably wouldn’t be an immediate starter, but possibly some stints in the bullpen and then he could jump into the rotation should an injury take place to another starter.

Until that happens though, I’m going to question whether or not Mike Minor actually exists.
