Defensive Line

This is probably the toughest match-up yet. Houston has the best defensive player in all of football on their roster in J.J. Watt, and also have Vince Wilfork and Christian Covington along that defensive line.

Kansas City has one of the best defensive lines though with Allen Bailey, Dontari Poe, and Jaye Howard leading the charge. These guys didn’t have a great game last week, but expect that to change in week two.

Now it’s worth noting that Eric Fisher completely OWNED J.J. Watt in the playoff game last season, which I’m only mentioning because it’s funny. No one would have ever predicted that to happen after the whole week one debacle (Fisher sitting out because he was “scared” of Watt).

While Watt is the best defensive end in all of football, the Chiefs have the better D-line out of the two, so they get my vote here.

Advantage: Kansas City
