The Missouri Tigers offense came to life in a huge way against Eastern Michigan at home in a 61 to 21 rout of the Eagles last Saturday. Will the success translate against the Georgia Bulldogs this week?
The Mizzou Tigers have a tough challenge at home this weekend against number 16 Georgia Bulldogs. The Bulldogs were number nine in the country last weekend in the AP poll. Georgia barely won against Nicholls State University at home on September 10th by a final score of 26 to 24. The near loss dropped the Bulldogs seven spots in the polls this week.
The Bulldogs advanced to 2-0 with wins over the North Carolina Tar Heels and Nicholls State Colonels. Coming into the season, Georgia was picked to finish second in the SEC Eastern Conference just behind the Tennessee Volunteers. While the Missouri Tigers were picked to finish in fourth place in the east.
