Does Spencer Ware Carry The Load?

Last week against the Chargers, Spencer Ware was the Kansas City Chiefs premier back.  However, Ware was only on the field for about 45% of the offensive plays.  With Charcandrick West presumably healthy this week, will he take on more of the starting role?  It’s tough to say, but Spencer Ware should still get plenty of work.

Against the Chargers, Ware turned into a beast as he racked up 199 total yards and a touchdown.  Most of those yards came through the air, but Ware still had a good day on the ground.  The power back rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.

However, there may be some question as to whether or not Spencer Ware is a good fit as the lead back in the Chiefs offense.  He is notably different than the running backs that Andy Reid has featured in the past.  That would certainly account for his low usage last week despite being the starting back.  Does that change this week?  Do the Chiefs give more work to Charcandrick West?
