Kansas City Chiefs: Five Things To Watch Vs Houston Texans
By Ben Almquist
The Kansas City Chiefs travel to Houston this week to take on the Texans. The Texans should be looking for revenge after the Chiefs absolutely owned them in 2015. Here is what Chiefs fans should be watching for.
The Kansas City Chiefs will return to NRG Stadium to take on the Houston Texans this week. Last time the Chiefs were in Houston, it was a 30-0 drubbing of the Texans in the AFC Wild Card round of the playoffs. That game is still weighing on the minds of the Texans players and coaches. This week, they get a shot at revenge.
The Chiefs are coming off the biggest comeback in franchise history as they overcame a three touchdown deficit to beat the Chargers. The Texans, meanwhile, are fresh off of a win over the Bears. Both teams have playoff aspirations, but neither started last week particularly well. This week we should expect to see both teams look much sharper.
Texans coach Bill O’Brien made it no secret that the Texans remember what happened the last time these two teams met:
"“You have to look at that game. You have to think about what do you need to do to get your guys to play better and to coach better in that game.”"
Neither team has an easy task ahead of them this week. Both teams should be feeling some momentum after dominating late in their respective games. Here are five keys tot the Chiefs and Texans match up this Sunday.
