A-. . RB. . SPENCER WARE

How about Spencer Ware? The guy filling in for Jamaal Charles lit it up against San Diego, racking up 129 receiving yards off of seven receptions and 70 yards rushing off of 11 carries. He also had one receiving touchdown, and was insanely good on Sunday.

He was elusive in every aspect of the game, and the Chiefs needed a hero to step up and take the game into his own hands.

Without Ware out there, the Chiefs probably don’t come back and win this game. He showed that he can be that running back for the team while Charles is out, and continued to dominate against the San Diego Chargers.

I can’t say enough good things about Spencer Ware’s performance on the gridiron on Sunday. He was elusive in every aspect of the game, and the Chiefs needed a hero to step up and take the game into his own hands.

Smith and Ware could become quite the scary duo this season. Watch out, defenses.
