A-. . QB. . ALEX SMITH

Alex freakin’ Smith, ladies and gentlemen! I’ve been high on Smith since the Chiefs acquired him during the 2013 offseason and he showed Chiefs Kingdom exactly what they wanted to see from him this year.

In the first half, Smith was struggling, but so was the rest of the team. The offense only managed three points and they got those points on their very first possession.

Smith did throw an interception in this game, but the rest of his stats were insane. He finished the day going 34 for 48 with 363 yards and two touchdowns (three if you count him running it in in overtime). Smith was unreal and he showed that he can lead this team to big comebacks and be the quarterback this team needs to make it far.

Like I said on the previous slide, Alex Smith put the KC Chiefs on his back in this one, and we’re lucky to have him here in Kansas City.

Let’s keep rolling, Alex.
