The Kansas City Chiefs don’t own the market on hot takes.  In fact, Chiefs fans were relatively mild in comparison to some other teams.  Some fans are throwing out the absolute hottest of takes, and it is glorious!

Ok, pump the breaks.  Look, Jimmy Garoppolo played a decent game.  Decent.  However, the performance of Garoppolo was really only complimentary to the job done by the Patriots defense.  It is far too early to declare Garoppolo the new starting quarterback.  The Pats have been pretty clear about this still being Tom Brady‘s team.

Oh I will call out a public figure (especially Romanowski).  Yes, the Oakland Raiders had a pretty awesome victory yesterday when coach Jack Del Rio decided (successfully) to gamble on a 2-point conversion late in the game.  It worked out for the Raiders, but did require the Saints to miss (wide left) on a last second field goal attempt.  Not to mention Drew Brees put up 400+ yards and 4 touchdowns.  No Bill, that is not playing like Super Bowl winners.

What can I say…I love hot takes.  Fortunately for guys like me who enjoy a good laugh, Twitter makes it much easier to catch all of the hottest takes.  There’s really nothing wrong with having a hot take.  I know I have posted more than a few.  However, it’s entertaining to look back and see just how out of control some folks got.  So Tweet responsibly Chiefs fans.  We’re always watching!
