The Kansas City Chiefs have gathered a very impressive collection of athletes at the tight end position.  It is clear that the Chiefs intend to use their tight ends to create mismatches in various ways.  During preseason and Training Camp, the Chiefs often utilized a three tight end set.  That should carry over into the regular season.

Chiefs Keep Four Tight Ends:  Perhaps the biggest surprise with the Chiefs tight end group is that they kept four on the roster.  With brand new contracts, Travis Kelce and Demetrius Harris were certainly not going anywhere.  However, when Ross Travis surpassed the rest of the players in the group, James O’Shaughnessy and Brian Parker were thought to be in trouble.

Is There A Blocking Tight End?:  If any weakness can be pointed out in this group, it is the blocking.  Andy Reid told reporters that Demetrius Harris is the best blocker in the group.  Unfortunately, even a casual eye can see that Harris has some developing to do there.  Finding a blocking tight end could be of some practical service to the Chiefs.
